Lea Michele Apologises After Glee Co-Star Accuses Her of Making Her Life a “Living Hell”

Ohhhh boy. On May 29th, Lea Michele tweeted, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter”

Then her former Glee co-star, Samantha Ware, responded to the tweet writing, “LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISION GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF YOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD SHIT IN MY WIG!” AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD…”

Wow, this isn’t the first time Lea has been called out for bullying her Glee co-stars. Four years ago, Naya Rivera said that Lea brought ego, tension, and hostility on set with her.

Alex Newell, Amber Riley, and Dabier Snell all co-starred in Glee and they reacted to Samantha’s tweet, showing her support.

Lea just lost her endorsement deal with Hello Fresh since the allegations were made against her. Lea has worked with the brand since January.

Someone tweeted, “@hellofresh should probably cut ties with @leamichele…it’s only a matter of time before people stop buying your products bc you support her #hellofresh #LeaMicheleisoverparty”

Then 10 minutes later, HelloFresh tweeted back saying, “HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele. We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately.”

After all that happened, Lea Michele shared a statement in response to the claims and apologized for any pain her behavour has caused.
