This is so fun! The cast of Lizzie McGuire all came together for a virtual table read on zoom!
The whole McGuire fam jam was there, along with her bffs! Obviously, Lizzie herself, Hilary Duff was there, Jake Thomas, who played Lizzie’s little brother, Matthew was there, Adam Lamberg as her bff Gordo, Lalaine as her other bff Miranda, Hailey Todd and Robert Carradine as Lizzie’s parents, were there as well!
Remember the episode Between a Rock and a Bra Place, where Lizzie wants to wear a bra? That’s the episode they all read, it was to mark the 19th anniversary of the episode.
Hilary posted the whole thing on Instagram with the caption, “Some fun for you this Monday! We hope you guys have fun watching this! We could not stop laughing reading lines from tween us. This is the first time we were all ‘together-ish’ in almost 18 years! This week marks the 19th anniversary of this episode ‘Between a Rock and a Bra Place!” Do excuse our delayed singing… we will be taking singing lessons as a group to work on our craft!!”
Hilary talked about how this all came together before they went into the table read. She said, “I got the most amazing phone call last week from Jake Thomas. He threw out having a virtual table read of one of our old episodes of ‘Lizzie McGuire,’ and I thought there’s no better way to cure boredom and to provide a little bit of entertainment for everyone who’s stuck at home.”
The whole thing was for a good cause! They asked fans to donate to Frontline Responders Fund, No Kid Hungry, Baby2Baby, Support and Feed, L.A. Food Bank to help in the fight against COVID-19.
