Ayyyyy! Big up Scarbz! Lilly Singh is coming back to NBC for a second season of A Little Late With Lilly Singh!
The late-night talk show has been renewed for a second season after it premiered in September last year when it replaced Carson Daly’s Last Call With Carson Daly.
The first season was actually nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for the episode, Lilly Is Struggling to Date Women. If you didn’t know, fun fact: not only is she the very first person of Indian and South Asian decent to host a late-night talk show on a broadcast network, she’s also the first openly bisexual woman to do so!
She talked about the first year of her show saying, “Hosting my own late night show and interviewing guests from Malala Yousafzai to Snoop Dogg has been a fun ride for me. I learned so much during this first year of creating the show from scratch, and I’m excited that ‘A Little Late’ will return for a second season on NBC.”
